ABA Support Staff

Department: Home Based Children's Services
Location: Warwick, RI

The ABA Support Staff position is Part-Time with pay rate of $24/hour.

As an ABA Support Staff you will be responsible for:

  • Protecting the rights and dignities of children/young adults with special needs and extending these rights and dignities to family members or guardians
  • Implementing applied behavior analysis educational and treatment programs with individual clients aged 2 to 21 in their home and in the community, under direction of a clinical team
  • Collecting data as prescribed by the Behavior Analyst using a variety of measurement systems and participating in data management
  • Participating as a member of client treatment teams
  • Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor related to the organization’s mission, goals, and operations

Education/ Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high-school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have two years of supervised experience working with children with special health care needs, or an Associate’s degree in human services (i.e. psychology, counseling, child development, education, nursing, etc.), or be currently enrolled in not less than six (6) semester hours of relevant undergraduate coursework at an accredited college or university
  • Must successfully pass BCI and CANTs screenings
  • Must have valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and automobile insurance
  • Access to vehicle to be used as directed and when needed for transport
